Technical Specifications
The AirDetect Pro utilizes two primary scanning methods:
-
Remote ID Scanning:
- Technology: Bluetooth 4/5 and Wi-Fi beacon scanning.
- Drones Detected: Remote-ID equipped drones, which refers to all new EU commercially sold drones over 250 grams (e.g., DJI, Autel, BlueMark).
-
DJI Drone Scanning:
- Technology: RF-Detection of DJI Remote-Control Signal.
- Drones Detected: Older DJI models (e.g., DJI Mini 2, DJI Mini 3 Pro, DJI Mavic Air 2S).
- Limitations: Cannot detect newer DJI models (e.g., DJI Mini 4) or non-DJI brands.
| Feature | AirPlate Drone Scanner system |
|---|---|
| Scanner systems | Remote-ID and DJI Drone scanning |
| Good Signal Range | 0-2 km (More than 10 data points per minute) |
| Sparse Signal Range | Up to 5 km |
| Antenna Position | Antenna positioned above skyline. Higher altitudes increases the effective scanning range. |
| Operational Conditions | Suitable for outdoor operations with clear line-of-sight to the sky. Performance may vary with environmental factors and obstructions. |
